Sugar Bowl Lid Variations
There are 2 distinct sizes/styles of lids on the Blue Willow (and other patterns) angle handled sugar bowls. I have found the lid with the recessed finial on sugar bowl bottoms with an embossed letter code, and the non-recessed finial on plain bottomed sugar bowls. This may not always be the case as I have not had a lot of examples of Blue Willow angled handled sugar bowls.
